MiD Past Layouts 2005
These layouts are the layouts that were made in the Year 2005. Which is by technicalities, the first year of Misty Ice Designs.
The Layouts previous to this one, were done for DarkfyreAnime.Com which was the original name of Misty Ice Designs.

MiD v1 - Swirled into Mist
This was my first version after changing my name from DarkfyreAnime.Com to Misty Ice Designs. The reason for the change lay mostly in the fact that Darkfyreanime suggested Anime was what we were doing but it wasn't. While Anime is our main genre for graphics, we do Video Grame Graphics and we do Misc graphics. Anime is what brings people in and we strive to continue doing this.
This version was called Swirled into Mist and was done with light blues the graphic was found at Anime Visions Very nice anime Gallery, well kept and easy to follow. There were no lyrics on this version and the brushes were from Aetherrealty Very lovely site that is. Oh some of the brushes were my own as well.. . I think the lyrics ones were.
I worked on this layout for actually a short time before throwing it up and having it look the way I wanted ^_^; very proud of it actually.
MiD v2 - Missing Me
Version 2.0 of Misty Ice Designs, this version is called Missing Me. The lyrics on the site are from Evanescence and the brush tool is from Truly-Sarah The graphics if from Anime Visions again, as I find it easy to find certain pictures from them, and in this case I was looking for an Anime character with wings. This layout was a little more challenging as it features an automatic random quote generator up in the top corner and a digital grain effect placed over the image.
The lyrics brushes that are in the background are done by Me as well, so they are in the tools section ;)
This version has so far induced the most change as we start to categorize things to Anime, Video Game and Misc and start to make it easier to find things for users.
Also as we try to get the google ads to point to Anime, and Video Games more than this other crap =P Thus the random mentionings of Anime, Video Games.
MiD v3 - Bang Bang
Version 3.0 of Misty Ice Designs. This Layout was titled "BANG BANG" the lyrics on the site were from Nightwish's Bare Grace Misery. The image was retrieved through a google search at work, and the website of which it was hosted on I wasn't able to access after. It's gone ;_;
The character was a girl from Gunslinger girls. The layout itself was probably quite the change as it was a dark colored layout and I got critisized a few times for the layout being dark on a site called Misty ICE designs, but hey whatcha going to do, this is my site =P
This layout saw the removal of the google ads. Considering they point to design things they never got me anything I wanted in terms of hits so I stopped trying with them and moved to just the hopelessly knowing that if the site traffic ever did increase to a dangerous amount I'd just be out a lot of money =P
The Brushes on here were from Forbidden-Fire.Net very nice set of brushes there, I enjoyed the technical ones a lot. Found myself using them again in version 4.0
While this layout was pretty, when I got my new monitor I realized my colors were a bit... err faded. Seeing things in vivid color again makes a difference on how you design things.
Also points out the flaws you make when doing them =P
Anyway, time to retire this layout and move onto the next!
