First of all the Forums have some posts on them now. ;_; We're a small community but you know, we want to grow.Also there is an Important Post in regards to some disappointing issues that have arose in the past few days and And Another about a Contest Other than that we have about 11 New Avatars and 3 New Banners and 2 New Buttons (1 88x31 and 1 88x15) and 4 New Sigs by me and 2 donated by The Wizzard And of course One New Div Layout So yea, that's all my lazy rear has done in the past few days. I'll do more promise... just don't hurt meh ;_; -LadyPSerenity Friday October 28, 2005 Yes you're reading correctly, it's the same date as the one below and yes it's still friday, and only a few hours after my last update. I'm working hard for you guys really... ;_; I feel so bad still about the lack of anything. So I'm making up for it as best I can.I'm working on layouts right now because Avatars, Signatures, banners and buttons I do better at home. (I'm at my real job) So let's set up what I've done today. There are two new Wallpapers In the game section if you must know and they are indeed similar but they are both from World of Warcraft. The Expansion was previewed today... and jee it's so fricken pretty ;_; Next on the list is the layouts. Four more to add to the collection. One Div Layers two iFrames and one Tables Below are the previews. I have another couple hours left in work and I'm pretty tired, I can't really say what I'll get done tonight if anything at all. Usually when I get home from work I'm either hyper to all hell and want to play my game or I want to sleep... right now I'm predicting I'm going to desire a nap. We'll see. Typically when I RP at night I do graphics, so let's just hope for some RP =P This weekend I'll start getting some things going on in the forums. If you haven't been here in a while, take a look at the forums. They are all fixed up and far more ready to go! Anyway, on with the layout previews.
Friday October 28, 2005 So I've been doing some work on this, keeping at it, that's for sure.And so we have some actual updates, not just a pretty new design, which the feedback for has been lovely and I think you very much for all of it. I will be throwing up an FAQ soon because I'm getting a lot of common questions that are starting to bother me, because I'm answering the same thing over and over again. ^_^;; heh it can get annoying. So a few things to take care of then. First of all I'm looking for all the sites that I've given awards to, to please, please, please check the Winners section. If you are not on it, please EMAIL ME at webmistress@mistyicedesigns.com and tell me what award you won, where your website is, and where the award is located. I will check for it. I lost my hard drive on my old computer so that means a whole lot of things I had saved are now gone. I can't update this page unless I get contacted. Also if you applied for affiliation, awards or anything in the past month -PLEASE- contact me. If it was for an award re-fill out the award application, if it was for affiliation, email me. I'm sorry to make everyone go through this, but I've suffered the crash on my computer, and I need to get everything together again. Now that my schedule is calming down a bit I'll be able to actually get to this, it'll be a slow transition back into the grind... but I'll get into it. As more compensation for my lack of updates I've made Well... I think it's six new layouts. ^_^; And I'm doing more as I work. Here are some previews.
So there you have it, some pretty new layouts to google and gawk at ^^; and I promise to update more later with some more things. Hopefully I'll actually kick myself to do some wallpapers and graphics. I'll need to practice for the contest I'm going to enter over at Anime Galleries|Dot|Net and Anime Forum dot com Because I know I'm going to need them, some yummy prize packs... LARGE yummy prize packs... full of things that would either boost, start or complete a lot of people's collections. But that's enough selling my soul to advertising for this moment, I'll do more in the next post and every post after that. But I'd watch the News and Such forum on AG and AF, when they post it there, I assure you it'll be big. And if you're somebody at all you'll enter. =P
Wednesday October 26, 2005 It's not that we mean to do monthly updates, it's that we both get really extremely busy and can't get to what our jobs are to this site. Sometimes we can throw up little things that we did in our spare time sometimes we can't.I've been in a lot of issues and haven't been able to really get to it. So to make it up to you I thought... I'd do a new layout. Now this layout isn't blue, it's dark and it's reminscant of the old days when I use to do dark DFA layouts. However the old days have come and gone. This layout is called "BANG BANG" The lyrics are from Night Wish's Bare Grace Misery and the Anime is Some gun Girls I believe. I can't remember really I found it while at work, and using a google search. So Couldn't really do much in terms of grabbing more info about it. But alas this is not it... The forums. They have undergone and overhall as well. As soon as I finished my work at home stuff I started in on this. Because it was too late to go to the gym =/ I need to go and I keep having things get in the way, like long power outages. Anyway, another story for another day. Once again, sorry about down time, but we're live again. We also look forward to comments on the new layout. I have Four layouts in my folder that need to be coded, so look forward to those, they will be coming soon. -LadyPSerenity Wednesday September 28, 2005 Holy junk. It's been over a month since the last update. LPS and I have been extremely busy and unable to do much graphic-wise. We apologize. HOWEVER! :D Looky looky! There are a few new 100x100 icons as well as a new signature. So joy, right? Things are starting to settle down for me, personally, and so I'll be able to put more graphics up. Currently, I'm trying to convince LPS that having an FOB (Friends only banner) section would prove to be a good idea. But we'll see. We're on our way to 1000! ... yes Eventually I want to reach 1000, only like 700 more to go! So as was mentioned, the saving issue has been fixed, you can save them through IE just fine now. But as for what happened lets just say Graham likely hates me by now. See Patience paid off as Ithu below mentioned! Now this is a short update, like I said check my LJ for regular occurances from me. I'm working on stuffs and such but to get back into the habit of making graphics I figured I'd work on some "Icons" or "Avatars" here on MiD. <3 you all -LadyPSerenity Sunday August 14, 2005 Busy busy.A fast update! ^__^ Three new icons have been added to the icons. Featuring a random misc, Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth, and Fin Fish with a back-feature of Maron from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I'm very proud of them. The server saving problem was fixed awhile ago, if you hadn't noticed. Thanks to Graham for fixing it. (I'm sure LPS will say more later. I don't know much about it.) Also, to mention. I have a lot on my plate right now. ^^; Just recently the owner of Chibi-Usa.org asked me to make bi-monthly layouts for his site. So since I've never made layouts before, it'll be harder for me to adapt to. He's going to code, I do the graphics. That I can deal with. However, I'm still going to be working my hardest here at MID and tossing out graphics, but keep in mind it'll be just slightly slower than it had been before. At least until I get things figured out. So thanks for baring with me and my changes. :3 I'll get my rear in gear to finish the last eight icons to reach three hundred in no time. Patience is virtue! This is an hsphere problem as I'm being told but it is also isolated to IE browsers, so if you have firefox, the site will operate in it, just use it to quickly browse the site and you'll find you'll be able to save the icons again. Unfortunately we're stuck waiting for PSoft to fix the problem. I will be doing some graphics myself likely. (Going to slide over to where Ithu grabs her brushes from and steal some of those =P as well as work on some tutorials as that seems to be loved) Mind you I'm still hella busy with Frantic Writer as well as Butterfly Legends. <3 Do check out all the awesome Avatars that Ithu has added to our selection. We're going to hit 300 soon! -LadyPSerenity Saturday August 6, 2005 Alu! :D Wow. Has there ever been two updates in so close a time span? ^_~ Anyway. The news. I've updated the credit page with the credits I use. (The ones I could find at least.) They're pretty generic because of the fact that they're straight to LJ communities. But taking the time to find and credit each individual who made something I used would prove to be too much and use too much of the space on the credits page. So, I've simply pointed you in the right direction. If you're anyone of the people from those communities and would like to be individually credited that badly, feel free to contact me and I can change it.Also on the list today, SEVERAL new icons. (But the most recent two or from today.)Yes, I realize it's not that big of a deal. However, I've been learning some new techniques that I have used in these two and therefore I find it necessary to point it out to you. If you're having problems saving any graphics, the ones I've had problems with are the icons, don't worry. The images aren't meant to be saved as .bmp and Aaron(<3) is looking into why it's only giving you that option. (It's probably something I did. ; _ ;) So that's about it. ^_^; <3 Until next. I came upon this wonderful girl, LPS, one day. ;) That's how I got here today. We had been talking, I offered my wonderful assistance because I <3 her oh-so-much, and so here I am. I'll be making graphics for the most part, as well as whatever else LPS needs me to do. I'm on vacation from school, currently, so I have five weeks of a tremendous nothing to do. So, you can be rest assured that I will be updating graphics like crazy. :) (I don't intend on seeing MiD Hiatus or go under any time soon, beware.) Keep a look out because until my dear doesn't need me anymore, I'll be here and foaming at the mouth with intensity whilst creating and updating graphics.However, sometimes I can be a little sketchy and forget to check my work before I complete it. Sunday July 3, 2005 So I stayed home on Canada day and I worked on some graphics, I worked on some graphics yesterday and I've been working on them today.I believe that I have enough new things to make an update. Not as much as I'd like to have but I'll have more. There are 14 New Avatars; the AIM BUDDY ICONS have been sorted into categories and are easy to find and view now; there are 5New Signatures images for you guys; there are 4New Printable Invitatios. We are working on the E-Cards as that is a script needed there. Requests WILL open again soon... just need to do a bit more updates here on the main site, though you are welcome to join the forums and chat about almost anything there. My goal is to have more graphics up and more tutorials up by the end of the day. It's 3:30pm now and I've got another seven hours before I go to bed, so I'm going to plug away at it, so long as my Sister Site Anime Forum doesn't distract me =P Please not PurpleRage has closed, as has Silent Illusions. The Network and Affliates list will be adjusted today. Anyone not found linking to MiD will be removed from the Affliates list. <3 Tuesday June 28, 2005 I'm a horrible person. I'm sorry...But I do have good news, I've not been completely slacking... only a bit. Aaron's done some work for us, I went through and sorted the avatars... he came back and made a category script that sorts for me. So lets say you click 100x100 avatars and you go into there, across the top you'll notice the categories, you click those and WABAM you can see only those types of avatars, easy to find things. Same has been done for Wallpapers! In Other great news, I've made another tutorial. I never knew you people liked the tutorials so much until I started getting these "when will we see HTML 303" remarks. well the wait is over. HTML 303 is where you're going to find "Let's make a Layout". When I thought about it I thought about the various things HTML 303 should cover, I thought about having it cover frames, but frames can really be learned at the intermediate level... and if you're going to learn them you might as well learn the whole damn layout. So Practical use of HTML 303 is to make it a Layout making tutorial. So we have our first tutorial. It's the making of a Div Layer layout. This only teaches you the HTML. Not how to make the graphic... making the graphic MIGHT show up in the graphic tutorials... but really graphics are a matter of taste... its more about teaching you effects rather than teaching you how to make an image. There will be more tutorials that pop up over the next little while as well as a Quick reference for codes. The net isn't about hording all the information to yourself it's about sharing it and teaching others. So check it out! Sunday June 5, 2005 Look at me! I'm... an update!Okay a few things have been going on. First of all the Avatars are sorted into Categories. Anime Girls, Anime Boys, Video Games, Misc. The wallpapers are sorted into Categories, Anime, Video Games and Misc. I've added a new Anime Invitation section, as well as a Anime and Video Game E-Cards Section, hoever the E-Cards has nothing right now as I haven't managed to work out completely how it's going to work. The Past Layouts is updated, the Staff is updated, the Award Winners is updated, the Requests are OFFLINE for a short period of time, you can leave one but until I get caught up here on the site, I'm not doing them. There are three new sig images, and one invitation. I'm working on more things but it's hard for me to get things going as my fav gallery site is down and I seem to have done it again taken more than I can chew and I'm struggling to update whatever my flavor of the moment is. Let's put it this way, site wise I'll never be bored. Still looking for an artist Email me if your interested I'm looking for suggestions to be dropped into the shoutbox, and some other things... so if you got an opinion or a voice drop me a line. Monday May 30, 2005 So I figured to make up for the lack of updates, I'd do this, this is a new layout for Mid, and is justifiably Version 2.0. Hopefully you enjoy this new look, and I will try to have some graphics come pouring in, I've been such a bad webmistress....Tuesday May 24, 2005 So a month later...I'm terribly sorry for the length of time that has past between my updates... this is for a good reason however as I have not felt the want/need or desire to be doing anytype of update or design. I tried starting a comic, and I do desire to continue the comic. It's called butterfly legends... but unfortunately I lake the ability to draw as beautifully as this comic would need... April 20, 2005 Seeing as it's April I removed all March, and February updates. You can view them in the Past Updates section if you desire to do so.Sorry it's been so long since I updated here, I've been working on other projects with Aaron. we've updated Frantic Writer a whole lot, to the point where there is now a desktop application for that site. With everything that has been going on there, and in my own life I've had little to no time to update. The end of march was very stressful for me and now that March is over and April so far has been great, I'm sure that some new things will start popping up on the site. Below you'll notice a shoutbox, I want as many people as possible to TELL ME what they want to see on the site, what New sections, old sections and everything. What they want updated, what they're looking for. I mean I can keep doing what I see gets the most hits but I'd like a users opinion. As of this moment I'm up to date on ALL requests. There is one that isn't done but that is because I require the permission of the fan artist for the layout to be made. As I sit here typing this I'm looking at going into the side bar that you see and organizing it a little different. Not a lot different just a little. If you haven't noticed already during my off time I did manage to do one thing. I created three brush tools for Photoshop 7. Take a look at them and tell me what you think. I really do value all opinions that come in. Good and bad, as the good tell me I'm on the right track and the bad tell me where to improve. This seems to be the longest little ramblings I've done in a while. I'm working on the new network. This new network is for GRAPHIC SITES ONLY. It'll be a simple thing for me to work, as it'll be set up through MistyIce.Com and but what I want are people who are Interested in the network. Their webmistress has it in her sig and it's been posted and announced through their site. So in just they are co-running it now. They'll be giving us help and We SUPER appreciate it. March 12, 2005 Alright then, I'm home, I'm not sick. I have no guilty feeling of sickness forboding on me. I just need to work, and not get any interuptions. Perhaps my roommmates will give me that, though one in particular is a little more... attention savvy than the other. My goal today is to finish my previous goal.By my next news post I want to have More tutorials, more avatars, more buttons, more banners, more signature images, more layouts and more stationary... even more wallpapers and perhaps even some new sections. March 11, 2005 So then It's been... uh eight days, I'm a little late with an update but I promise it's worth it.Let's begin with what I've done so far, there will be another update as soon as I finish more. CSS 101 has a new tutorial in it. And the other one that was half finished is finished now. HTML 202 has one new tutorial in it, and I'm working on HTML 303 right now. That means a few more tutorials will come up soon. 100x100 Avatars have a few new ones on the list and so does 70x70 Avatars There is one new signature... People are joining here... I'll have more done soon... promise <3 March 3, 2005 And here is the second update for today. There are Four new Div Layer Layouts, one New table layout, and two popup chromeless layouts.I'm working on some more stuff for you today so we'll see what else popsup. March 3, 2005 w00t, here we go I'm in the mood to go go go, and so I'm doing it! So where to start hmm? Well how about I start with what I have updated so far and move into what I'm working on and then what I plan to do after I get what I'm working on done!Okay firstly HTML 101 has been sorted and updated. Secondly HTML 202 has been sorded and updated. Thirdly CSS 101 has been added to the list, with four tutorials in it already! Fourthly I've Revamped all the layout pages and I'm planning on adding some soon! Fifthly I'm working on the Graphics and I hope to have some new ones up soon! So that's what I've done. I'm working on more things at the moment, which includes at LEAST three new layouts and some more tutorials. Desdemona, a great staff member, is working on a custom layout request and don't forget that the Forums are up and working again. Gotta make a webmasters community work right! February 28, 2005 Anyway, the forums are back and working but this time they are far more dedicated to the site and it's purpose rather than miscellanious different things. Requests will go through them and hopefully get done much more punctually...I've been working on things and sadly only have four new avatars, and three new 'sig' images to show for it. Very sad really but I am going to get back into the grove of things and make a mass bunch of updates, you guys deserve it. If there is any particular type of graphic you'd like to see me bring out let me know through the forums, I'd love to hear the suggestions! February 13, 2005 First of all, as I'm getting close to it actually being the 14th, let's wish everyone a happy Valentines day.I'm sure all of you are getting sick and tired of waiting for me to update this site, I AM working on it... just not as quickly as I'd like to. I'm doing things differently again and I was going over my plan with a friend and I think what's going to happen is I'm going to get back into the swing of things, doing it my way and all. So that means there will be some big changes around here. I DID remove the multi layouts thing, it's too much for me to update, neat idea...but too much really. I will not be changing the layout again soon, this layout will stay up while I work on Content. The only reason for a layout change this time was because ALL my sites were getting one, so I figured I'd finish DFA with one as well. Please stay tuned as I work REALLY hard this week to Launch a few things including the Re-launch of the Spellfyre Productions Network. January 11,2005 I know it must seem like forever since I updated this site. Well it isn't... I know it seems like it but honest it isn't. I've just be super uber busy. But I'm not now. Christmas is over and past and happy New year to everyone. Also I'm a gamer so I have to say this. "Happy Winter-een-Mas" And if you don't know what that is ... how dare you be gamer!
