But how's everyone? Enjoying the summer? I know I am.
Just hanging with friends, having some beers in the sun.

And yesterday I saw Die Hard 4.0 (or Live Free Or Die Hard as it's called in North America).
I think everyone should watch this movie, it's the best movie I've seen in 2007 so far.
Well, enough of my chit-chat, let's get to the deal.

Aaaah... Yes... Summer is here now.
Sunny and warm outside, the water is starting to get pretty good, almost last day of school...

In honor of Potc 3 At World's End I've dropped a couple 100x100 icons into the folder, there's only two. I couldn't think of anything fancy to do with them and my brain froze when I tried to.
I've added one wallpaper which uses my favorite little belldandy image ever. So you'll see it in all it's beauty. The wallpaper comes in three sizes. 800x600 (who uses this still?) 1024x768 and 1280x1024 if you'd like a different size let me know I saved the psd.

Hey there, guys.
Well, it's been quite awhile since you last heard from me and I'm here to apologize for that. Some things have come up lately that require my immediate attention and they've been forcing me to push MID into second priority for awhile. Honestly, I feel really bad about it. MID is like the illegitimate love child of LPS and myself and neglecting it hurts me. I promise, though, that when I come back with an update that it will be a huge one. I've been making graphics in the small bits of spare time that I seem to muster in the early single digit hours of the morning, but I've just not had the time or opportunity to take the time to upload them all and then write out a long description for an update. In fact, the only reason I have time right now to do this is because I'm at work (and technically, I don't have the time, but I'm forcing myself to out of sheer guilt).
I'd really like to take a moment to thank Maru, who has been consistently pushing out graphic update after graphic update in attempt to help keep MID alive and kicking. I've been watching our stats for the last few months and they've only dropped a couple double digits. That would be entirely thanks to Maru because of her hard work and commitment to MID. She really deserves, like, several gold stars.
Also, Gandizzl has been updating more frequently, too. I'm very proud of these two and it's times like these that I'm especially glad that LPS and myself decided to ask them to come on board. So, when you see posts from these two, please be sure to give them a high five for us. They're both really amazing worker bees.
Onto something a little more business-y, I'm trying to look for new ways to improve MID. Things we don't have, things we should get, things we should do- Ways to make you, the users, happier with MID and want to visit it more often. We really try to expand our horizons constantly, but sometimes our brains just.. lag. So, I would like to take this chance to tell you guys that if you have anything you would like to see happen to MID, you can leave a comment on this entry, e-mail it to us at any e-mail available, or you can go hop on the forums and post about it. Anything at all, we’re open to all possibilities and anything is appreciated. For a note though, we'll be posting up a Vectors section soon. (Maru loves vectors~!)

HEY! Miss me? I missed me, I'm not quite sure where me went... Though... here I am!
Anyway, I was doing some browsing on Anime Forum Doing the usual Admin routine over there, and I came across some tutorials. So thanks to Trinity Muse (Chrissy)@ Digital Tochi and Serated (Don't have a link for this one) for writing them. They were most helpful in teaching me a few tricks I didn't know. So you know there IS a glitch with the layouts, it doesn't download the images, I've asked Aaron if he could fix it, if he has time he will if he doesn't I'll have to find some other way of providing the layouts to you.
I've uploaded three LJ Headers, that's all though. There will be more graphics coming from me this week I can promise that.
I lost my computer about wednesday of last week and while I still had my laptop I've been working my arse off at McDonalds so I can make a bit of money. I'll be continuing to do that from now on. I've returned to McDonalds full time starting in May. In June it's my one year mark of having returned, though in reality I've worked at McDonalds for Eight years now... sad isn't it?
I'm going to do my VERY BEST to make sure this doesn't effect how often I update here. I will be doing the same as I'm asking my staff to do which is one update a week of at least ten graphics. We're going to be really working on this.
As a team of five (Kristen and I included) we're aiming to put 50 graphics up a week that's 10 from each of us.
So let's see how this goes! Wish us luck!

Hey there. I'm just updating to inform you all of our two brand new Link Exchangee's.
Starry Night is a website that is beautifully designed and specializes in graphic design. I'm really quite fond of the work there and am very happy they chose to LE with us.
The next new LE is Layout Lounge, which is a site that is based on bringing it's visitors with great MySpace layouts. This site is very well organized and it's easy to find any type of layout you're looking for your page. Being a user of MySpace myself, I'm going to be sure to look through their many galleries.
We're very happy to have these two new great sites with us here on MID and we hope that you'll visit and enjoy their sites as we do. :D

Well, it's kind of a small update, but an update nonetheless.
2 100x100 icons featuring Conner from [the] Boondock Saints and one with some text referencing World of Warcraft.
2 70x70 icons featuring Sakura & Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and misc Alice in Wonderland doushinji.
Expect more graphics from the movie "[the] Boondock Saints". I recently fell in love with it. Also, more WoW graphics to come, too.
On another note, I've organized the 70x70 icons according to genre for those that had a lot of icons. New sections include Disgaea, Sailor Moon and TRC.

Finally watched the new 007 movie. I know it was in theatres last year yadda yadda yadda. I kept trying to go but everyone had "already seen it" so I finally got the chance to lay down in my room and watch it.
Needless to say usually me watching a movie makes me make some icons.
I do need to get onto doing some other things, but I just have some pretty new brushes I wanted to work with.

I have work tomorrow so I'm updating now before I go and lay down. I know it's kind of weird to have me updating in the evenings and on a Friday no less eh?
Just a slight life update. I've taken some time off (the past three days) in order to start the process of getting MYSELF in order. I've also made arrangements that I will no longer go without two days off a week. I can't handle it and my body doesn't like me doing it.
Next step is to learn french so that I can properly move forward into a career.
My Webdesigning skills were classified as "too junior" so I move on and find other things to do, including writing.
I know, my grammar is horrible as you've seen in here, but I do believe I have the ideas and the stories that I could create an excellent novel. So I will be dedicating time to my writing however, unlike before I WILL be making updates here.
I have a goal of learning how to -shudder- use Myspace. -wipes the dirt off- Only for the fact that I want to create some layouts for it in order to give people at least "decent" looking MySpace websites.
I'm also working on learning more about how the pre-made layouts can be used on other "free" solutions so that I can put up tutorials on how to do it.
This will give us more stuff here.
Anyway, as I wanted to say (aka the real reason I'm updating) I've added another nine Icons, all Harry Potter. Hah, I'm still working on some more Harry Potter stuff because frankly I love it. It's awesome. And so =P if you don't like it.

So I'd just like to make a note, that this layout here, you better damn well like or I'll beat you senseless... literally beat you senseless...
I've spent a good six hours, designing, coding and working with Kristen really hard to make sure things are in place and LOOK like they belong there and not like we went "Oh shit, that space is empty we need to fill it." Not that we did that... >.>
So here we have it a spring layout, that took me more time than was necessary and thus there's nothing else to go with it and I still have to go through it and replace certain pieces left over from the last layout.
I've updated the Credits page, there are a LOT of new resource sites added and I've also updated the Past Updates to fit in this layout. (Not that people read that.)
With the advertisement banner, you contact us and we work out a price for you to advertise on here, I'll go into more detail about it when I don't feel like clawing my eyes out from staring at a screen.
Anywhoo, more updates to come this week from me. I'm in a Harry Potter Fix so expect some more icons/sigs/friends only banners. I have some stuffs in mind!

Ok, maybe I'm a little to blame... alright, alright. A lot to blame. But you know I've been distracted by Shiny Objects. And making Shiny objects shinnier.
In all reality Mia and I have finally after two months worth of work and prep been able to launch our webcomic. (Two Months is actually surprisingly fast considering we had a lot of speed bumps. Including both of us working two jobs.)
The comic is called Secret Service Wars but you can call it SSWars for short. (How many times can I Link over there... hmm?)
I would have made the announcement sooner but I really wanted to have a couple of strips up on there, make sure my deviant art account didn't hold any of the secrets to our work, and that I had everything ready to go over here.
And I wanted to have something here for the visitors here.
So I've uploaded one Sleeping Beauty Signature, and about seven Sleeping Beauty Icons.
Oh and I've taken the thirteen something banners and buttons that Maru made to link to us and put them up so that people can have new banners and buttons to link over to MiD like they've always wanted to do.
Anywho. I have some more stuff to get done and very little time to get it done in. Not to mention the killer back ache.

| Hello friends, visitors, and first comers! I had to take a forced sabatical from MiD because my computer went dead. ;_; But that's ok because I'm back now and more ready than ever to make this the best resource site ever! ^_^

I've been trying to write this update for the past Thirty Minutes. Mia is distracting me with love.
Come Sunday I'll have something special to announce here. Something that I've been eager to be working on with Mia and I'm sure she's eager to see the announcement herself.
For today... err this morning, I've uploaded Two 100x100 Icons, One Sig, 1 70x70 Icon and a Hiatus Sign. I'm not working on more Graphics for a couple of days due to being sick. I -might- slip in a few extra things, but I got a lot of stuff I need to do, and not the hugest amount of time to do them in. If I want to make the surprise by Sunday I gotta work hard!
Mia and I are really eager, few people know what it is and have seen it in development and the feedback has been positive from them, hopefully it'll be positive all around!

Alright, well we finally managed to get Link Exchange up and running. I've filled out the detail on what it is and how it works. I'm going to ask Aaron to code up a form for us so that we can get that starting.
Right now, the whole point is that it's a chance for us, and others, to expand their sites. That's the entire point of a Link Exchange. It isn't affiliation, but it's close enough. We're hoping to have quite a list going. I'll be updating monthly, or bi-monthly, statistics for MID and posting the stats on the Link Exchange page. (I'm not sure if I'll do it with an image or just text, yet.) But that way, you can make a fair judge on whether or not you want to do Affiliation/Link Exchange with us based on our business.
I'm hoping that this will make you guys happy because it'll be greatly benefitting to you. =) I'm very happy with it.
Also, we have some ideas to improve MID in the works. LPS and I are working to figure out more ways to bring what users want to this site. Some of the ideas are including, but not limited to, your-page-here type advertising. We may or may not charge for this starting off. As you all know, taking full care of a website isn't cheap. LPS and I are paying out of pocket, which we don't mind, but it begins to take toll after a certain amount of time. We'll see how things are going and how things will come and we'll make decisions based on that. But, to be clear, she and I aren't looking to make pocket money off MID. Anything donated or purchased from here will be strictly for MID's use. We really want to launch MID to a broader span of people and we're figuring out ways to accomplish this.
So! As LPS said, all Link Exchange detail and communication will be going to me at my e-mail. (This e-mail is different than the e-mail I use in these updates. Please make note of that.) Soon enough we'll have a form available where everything will be automatic. =) Please continue to be patient, we really appreciate it. <3
Also, I'll be having a huge update for you guys after my class tonight. It'll be consisting of Banners, Buttons and new Affiliation and Link Us graphics. I'm very excited. There will probably be, of course, more in addition to that. But that's what I'll be focusing on. So check back later this evening, around 8 pm EST. ^_~

Since I've come to realize that not everyone has a 1024x768 resolution (though it's more common), I've decided to make more walls in different sizes. Beginning today I'll start doing that.

Woo. I made 39 Graphics today. It was a bit of a challenge to see if I could make it to 50, but you see my brain and my graphics program protested just as I hit 39. I'll hit 50 tomorrow I promise.
Both Kristen and I decided to race to 50, and uhm, yea we got somewhere... maybe we'll see what happens next. And seeing as there always tomorrow we'll see what else comes.
So Hiatus and Enter Signs got a MUCH NEEDED boost in the graphics department. And will be getting even more attention as we rush to see who can make more. Oh and we didn't go all "OMGSOSERIUS" xD She'll beat me later for that.

| Well, bringing into the new month, to make up for my lacking contribution, I've made a layout for you. =) It's a DIV layer layout, featuring misc Taiwanese art. It's pretty purples, pinks and white. I'm really proud of it. I coded it in PHP, too. >=D Go me.

Well, yesterday I adjusted my Sakura Wallpaper and entered it into AnimePaper as a wall submission.. I didn't think I'd get in and whatnot, I mean, they're elitists there. They are the best of the best and it's a very prestigious community. Lo and behold, though-- One, two, and three! =) I'm so excited. It's really great to have my work acknowledged and stuff.

Look It's an update on a Friday night! Fancy that. I've gone ahead and added 20 Aim Icons. I was having fun with the text stuff, but they're cool so I threw them up there and figured some other people might like them like I do.
Also, I'd like to direct attention now! That is to focus on our New Contests Section..
Each month we will be running five mini contests, and every few months we'll run what we call a major contest. Currently we have our Five mini's up ( Favorite Video Game Wallpaper, 70x70 Music Icon, Winter Live Journal Header, Pretty in Pink FOB and Enter or Hiatus Grunge) and our Major is called Designing Misty. You can get your layout design as Misty Ice Designs Website.
Now I rarely talk stats but to make it a little more understandable as to how big that is I will. Mid is viewed by anywhere between 800-1000 people a day and averages about 10,000 unique views a month. You win your layout is seen by thousands of people. So why not try!

Guh my head hurts so much right now, it's not fun being sick for almost a week straight with this Norwalk Virus I've been in and out with it. It can last for two weeks it says, but the minor symptoms are in place now with like fevers and headaches. The more serious ones put me out of commission on my last weekend off. Anyway... enough with the gross stuff.
I added Five 100x100 Icons, Three 64x64 Icons, Three 70x70 Icons, Six Aim Icons And 24 Icon Bases.
I went to the theme of World of Warcraft in honor of as Kristen mentioned the Burning Crusade launch. Yes, you have a bunch of WoW nerds running a graphic site and yet this is pretty much the first onslaught of wow graphics we've thrown though Kristen has put up I think a couple Night Elf Icons before. Aren't we grand?
There would be more but I'm considering going home and throwing up some more.

| Well, I have some news and some graphics.
First news is that I'm updating. Yay. The title, it sounds mean, I know, but it's not. I love MiD, I do.. But an event has happened in my life that has rendered me "bleh". I'm very lethargic now. And I haven't updated in awhile-- That, suprisingly, has nothing to do with it.
Second news is that I've been permanently glued to WoW the last month or so. Especially with the release of Burning Crusade my time is now squat. I've been busy with college, like I said I would be, then I either have no energy left or I hop on WoW for awhile. I realize my neglect of MiD is painful to the users and the site, so I'll try to stop that.
Third news is that I won't be updating for awhile after this. I'm taking a short break to get some studying done for school, make sure I'm on top of things, pay more attention to three very important friends of mine and miscellaneous other responsibilities. So my time will be less available than it is currently. I apologize sincerely.
The good news is that I do, in fact, have graphics for you. 7 Icon Bases featuring random Magic Knight Rayearth characters - and 4 regular 100x100 icons featuring Kagome and Mioga from InuYasha (which is my new OCD). Three of them are more funnyhaha type icons rather than the serious ones I usually tend to do.
So I hope you enjoy. I'll be checking in on the forums and such, so I'll see you kids around. <3

Alright, so I added a new brush set. Small Lyrics It's much like the great set of Kristen's I've been using, but it's using Lyrics from songs playing in my play list at the time.
I've also added Four 100x100 Icons, two 64x64 Icons, Four 70x70 Icons, Four Aim Icons And of course they're all evanescence hahaha.
Amy Lee just makes pretty icons. what can I say.

Despite my lack of updating the main page, I have been doing things, it's just the things I do, you can't see... because they're so small and barely noticeable, IE updating the past updates or tweaking how something looks, I tend not to update this page. It'd be kinda silly ya know?
Anyway, despite all that I have come with some updates.
Last night I went to the Evanescence concert and they inspired me to do some graphics focused on them. Here is the first slew of those. There are SIX! 100x100 Icons, Five! 70x70 Icons, Five! 64x64 Icons and Five! Aim Icons!

I'm worried that my CLAMP obsession is getting the better half of me, but you nearly see as many CLAMP graphics as you should.. ;_; I know I've gone looking in the past and haven't found much, or if you do- It's not very good. But you know.. Daydream Graphics has a fairly small, but fairly good, CLAMP selection of icons.

First of all I want to say Happy New Year. We're proud to be launching Version 11 of Misty Ice Designs and we're excited to be moving into the new year with our new team and with amazing ideas and great new graphics yet to come.
2006 had it's struggles and we aim to keep our updates as regular as possible but most of all we're thankful to our users that keep coming back and leaving us great comments whether it's threw the forums, the site or even through email. Your comments and feedback help us know which direction we continue to travel in. Thanks for visiting and we hope to continue to see you over the years to come.
